Getaway Swim
Unlike the previous few weeks, we had perfect weather. There was a slight mountain storm blowing through on Saturday, but every other day was bright enough to heat up the pool and provide perfect swimming weather. But even the rain did not stop our kids from partaking in the pool festivities. You can see in the picture below that the rain drops hitting the pool.

Green Cove Getaway...
http://www.greencovegetaway.com/index.html
This is where we stayed for the majority of our vacation.
It was even more than we had hoped for.
And the best part was the location. We were right on the creeper trail.
Every morning we got up in the cool of the morning and took a short walk on the trail. It was beautiful and gorgeous and wonderful.
We've stayed another week if we could. And we had so much fun that we will definitely be going back one day. There was so much to do that we didn't get to do this trip and we have some favorites that we would love to do again.
More on that later. For now I have to go and deal with the fact that tomorrow morning I must get up early and head out to work and get back to our real life. Vacation is over, unfortunately.
Random thoughts
Outside my window... the sun is shining
I am thinking... that we need a wireless controller for the game cube games. I'm afraid Caleb is going to pull the wii off the tv stand
I am thankful for... Aloe. Caleb and Lilly have sunburn and it's the only thing giving them relief!
In the kitchen... it is clean. :)
I am wearing... Pj's
I am creating... with my mojo that has come back after taking a vacation!
I am going... to some yard sales and then coming back to scrap!
I am reading... Ink death- the third book in the Ink Heart Triliogy.
I am hoping... that Jim gets home on time today so we can have a hot date!
I am hearing... Caleb playing Paper Mario
Around the house... is clean thanks to my lovely children! They wanted to swim so bad yesterday that they cleaned the house before they left!
One of my favorite things... the early morning before the kids get up and it's just me and the pooch snuggling.
A few plans for the rest of the week... work, unfortunately (I say that now, but I really do love the paychecks! I got paid yesterday from vacation and it was half unpaid b/c I do not have the time built up yet and that was a bummer!)
A picture to share...

Meet Jude... my newest Gnome. :) He sits upon a shroom throne. We found him at a Christmas Village store in Williamsburg and I had to bring him home. He hangs out with Neville and Mr. Belvidere.
Happy Saturday everyone!

In which we just had to shake our heads and wonder why....
Is it the fact that the boy is growing up with two sisters?
Perhaps he enjoys watching project runway more than he says he does?
All I know is that it was freaking funny when the boy was playing on stage and started his own fashion show.

Hip swinging and all

Yes, the boy is just not right. And because we were all chuckling at him from down below, the others got up and started strutting their stuff too.

Sight seeing in Annapolis...
Some pictures of our sightseeing.
We didn't get to see the capital building. Or the bay. Or any of the historic centers. We had Legos on our mind and so we were killing time until the mall opened and looking for something to do.
Pretty much, we stopped at a Starbucks and in the shopping center was a pond with a fountain and turtles. Lots and lots of turtles. One was as big as a hubcap. And then there frogs, tadpoles, and a lovely deck that overlooked it all. That's where all of these pictures came from:
