The boy and his first starbucks. :)

Caleb's absolutely LOVED the star wars exhibit. I'm making a video but I wanted to share his moment of glory. We went to a show about lightsabers. They were disecting the technology and showing lasers how lasers work. Caleb was picked from the audience to go on stage and help with the deomonstration. He was totally cute. Check it out.

Shhh...

Don't tell Caleb, it's a secret. Tomorrow we are taking him to the Star Wars: Where Science meet imagination exhibit at the Franklin.




He is going to freak when he sees all this. You know the boy and his star wars.



In other news, Jim got a promotion and starts in two weeks at his new job. We were given the official offer on Tuesday and we are psyked! He starts training on April 7th- and just in time for my tax job to end. :)

A webkins Easter

We have now entered the world of webkins. THe kids are so excited about these things- EVERYONE has them and plays with them and they were feeling left out. Not anymore.




THis is Lilly and her beagle Princess Pup. She hasn't stopped carting this dog where ever she goes.




Caleb is with his bull frog Yoda and his Lion- Bounty hunter. We gave him the bullfrog and he used some of his fun money to adopt the lion. Of course, both have Star Wars Names!



Abby is with her Clan. Wilbur the pig, Kandy Korn the kitten, Clementine the pug and A monkey. She got the pug from us and used her money to buy the others.



And of course, we can't forget Gimli. He doesn't have a webkins (as he can't really use the computer) but he got a brand new Squeakers to replace his old one. Love how he just sat and posed for pictures! So sweet.

They're Comcastic!

I had a busy day at work on Saturday and Jim was offered OT and so the kids got to hangout with Daddy at work for an hour or two on Saturday.

Of course- they charmed Jim's boss with their cuteness. And Omar is their new best friend. :)

The mind of a 5 year old.

Let me set the scene.

It's dressing time. Lilly is getting irritated, b/c she can't find part of the outfit that she wanted to wear. The missing object- A built in bra camisolle. So I start looking through Abby's clothes and find something that might work- only it's a size 12.

She puts it on and it's long but it fits.

Wonder of wonders she finds the missing shirt and so I tell her to change out of Abby's shirt. She won't. Her reason? I'm gonna give you the direct quote:

"But moooooommmmmm, Abby's shirt makes me not show my butt crack"




And so, we can't arugue with that fact and so She is borrowing her sisters size 12 clothes- at the age of 5. (brown cami she is wearing is Abby- gray cami she is holding is what she chose not to wear)

Something tells me the clothing wars are just begining with the two of them. Yikes.

The flip comes with a video maker so it takes your movies, & music and makes a montage with it- really quick and easy. :)

So- after a horrid morning where it seemed everything went wrong, I took the flip with me at work to lighten the day up in our off time. :) I'm not sure how much longer I'm gonna be there, so I wanted to make sure I got some video, b/c she is just way to cute. :)

Model Making Fun

Jim is living vicariously though Caleb. Jim was big into models when he was a kid and now that Caleb is enjoying it with him- they are both having fun.



They started this model today- but it's not done. The box says it's a snap model, which it is, but it didn't say you need glue to go with it or it won't stay snapped. So It's not done yet, as we have to find someplace that still sells model glue.

Boy Scouting = Fun

It's that time of year! We're getting ready for the pinewood derby. :) This is Caleb's car so far. :)



It started from this sketch on a block of wood.


As much as we would have liked for Caleb to help Daddy with the cutting





That didn't happen.



Yeah, he's still a little too young for power tools.



So daddy cut out his car for him




So it's all cut now and ready to be sanded and painted. :) More pictures to come. :)

More scrapping

Lots more scrapping going on. I've got into doing challenges and they make scrapping so much more fun.





This one of Abby was from Pencil lines sketch 73.



This was a challenge where I had to scraplift the person before me. the stitching around the pictures was done by hand- imagine that. It's much easier to stitch on paper!

Sugar and Spice

This is my favorite picture from the weekend shoot. It's not perfect, but It speaks volumes. Our pretty princess and our angel with attitude. :) Sugar and Spice.

The rest are pictures we took today. Jim was playing with his new lenses and flashes. The boy didn't participate this time. :) We'll catch him when his boo-boos on his cheeck clear up. :)
