A quiet Easter morning.

Normally, we have the same procedures on Easter morning as we do at Christmas. No one is allowed downstairs until mom and dad are up and the excitement builds in the air as the kids discuss what will await them in their baskets.

This year the house is empty. The kids are away for the first time ever on a major holiday.

I miss them.

And so here their baskets sit, waiting for them to come back home tonight.




Anyway, I thought I'd share our decorations.

You see tax season was crazy for me this year and I really wasn't in the mood to decorate. And when I saw Lilly hanging out of the Easter Decoration box oooing and awwwwing over every little bunny we had- I had a brilliant idea.

So as I went to work last weekend I had her decorate the house for me and surprise me when I got home.


She loved this.
